Damascus: Mid-day news update 5-7-13

Damascus:

* The Syrian Air Force raids the industrial area in Qabon district. The same area was targeted by tanks.

* Tank bombardment on Jobar. The district has been targeted by the snipers based at the 8 March establishment.

* Renewed bombardment on several areas at al-Yarmouk Camp. Communication and electricity services are still unavailable at the camp.

Outer Damascus:

* Fierce clashes between the FSA and the government army near the town of Bait Sahem. The town has been bombed by regime’s artillery.

* Fierce clashes on al-Salam highway near the town of Deir Khaibah on the west side of Outer Damascus. The regime bombed the area with heavy artillery. The Syrian Air Force has targeted the town of Drocha.

* Mortar and artillery bombardment on the town of Babila.
