Damascus: Mid-day update 6-10-2013

Damascus:

* A morning airstrike targets Jobar district.

*  57mm artillery and 23mm machine gun bombardment from Mount Qasioun above the the Scientific Research Center, targeted Barzeh district Sunday night.

Outer Damascus:

* Regime forces target the town of al-Baharieh with toxic gases Sunday night.

* The Air Force bombs the city of Zamalka near the Southern Highway and the area between the town of Ayen Tarma and Jobar district.

* Renewed heavy artillery bombardment on the city of al-Zabadani, from al-Housh checkpoint in the south of the city.

* Artillery bombardment on Jarad Talfita and Halboun, from Regiment 67 near the town of Hafer al-Foka. Many war planes hovered over the city at the same time.

* Two killed and several injured in the artillery bombardment on the residential areas in the city of Moadamiyah.

* Heavy artillery bombardment targets the city of Darayya, and clashes occurred near the town.

* The heavy bombardment on the town of Khan a-Shieh results in several fires in the town.
