On August 27, the Islamic State executed an estimated 160 Syrian army soldiers captured at Tabqa military airbase and surrounding desert settlements. Adams sits down with Syria Direct editor Kristen Gillespie to talk about how he found the site where the soldiers were killed, and what it was like spending weeks watching Islamic State videos to get there.
