Tank on Damascus Southern Highway fires on Eastern Ghouta- March 4, 2013

The FSA and the Syrian army have been fighting over the Southern Highway since the ‘epic’ battle for Damascus was declared. The road seperates areas held by the FSA in southern Damascus and Eastern Ghouta.The FSA  recently advanced on the east side of the capital towards Abbasid roundabout, Damascus scond largest.
