A woman puts her hands on her head in grief over her destroyed house as a result of a guided missile attack, possibly attributable to Russia, on the village of Kfarhaya in Jabal Al-Zawiya in Idlib Governorate, northwest Syria, on 4/7/2021. The woman's family fled after the first missile landed near her home, followed shortly after by a second missile that hit the building directly and would have killed them had they been inside. Since last month, Idlib, and especially Jabal al-Zawiya, has witnessed almost continuous bombing by the Bashar al-Assad regime and its Russian ally, resulting in the deaths of 31 civilians and displacing more than 2,862 others in June alone, according to the Response Coordinators Team.
