Correction: Syria Direct published a brief on June 9, 2015 suggesting that a photo of a Southern Front flag hanging above a painting of Hafez Al-Assad was taken inside Liwa 52. This is incorrect. The photograph is from February, as far as we are able to determine, and is not from inside Liwa 52. Syria Direct regrets the error.
