Damascus:
* Sounds of shells and bombardment are heard in Baghdad St, al-Adawi, al-Maysat, Roken a-Deen and Mazraa.
* Air Force jets hover over the capital.
* Heavy bombardment on the Jobar district results in fires at the wood factory in al-Nashar area. The district is targeted with artillery based in Mount Qasioun.
* The air force carries out two airstrikes on the area between Jobar and Zamalka.
* An explosion occurs on April 17 St. near al-Mowasat Hospital. No casualties have been reported.
* Smoke rises above al-Midan after an explosion occurred.
Outer Damascus:
* The air force intelligence continues to arrest dozens of displaced people from al-Kadam and Sahnaya.
* The FSA shells with mortars a shabiha post and [the Shiite] Abo al-Fadel al-Abbas area in Sayeda Zeinab.
* An airstrike targets Ras al-Ayn and another targets the village of Flita in al-Kalamoon.
* Heavy mortar bombardment targets the city of Adra, but no casualties have been reported.
* Clashes occur between the FSA and regime forces round Bait Sahem.
