A photo shows entirely burned wheat fields as a result of the regime's bombing of opposition-held areas in al-Ghab plain in the western countryside of Hama province on June 1, 2021. The bombing that continues until now, coincides with the harvest season and is part of the Assad regime's strategy to starve populations in the last opposition-held areas in northwest Syria, which host about four million people, nearly half of whom are internally displaced persons (IDPs).
