This video released by Syrian Revolution 2011 YouTube channel documents an “interview” conducted by a rebel fighter with a captured Alawite soldier. The soldier explains how he was captured by the FSA. He says he’s been treated kindly. In this video segment, he addresses his sect and asks them to abandon Bashar because the majority of Syrians are Sunnis and Alawites will lose the war anyway. The prisoner explains how Khaled Taja, a Syrian actor who died of lung cancer on April 4, 2012, was arrested and tortured by govt. forces. He says Taja went into coma during detention and was hospitalized 3 days before his death was announced. Video courtesy of Syrian Revolution 2011 YouTube channel.
