TOCHKA MISSILES HIT DAMASCUS: An estimated 16 missiles slammed into residential buildings in the Barzah district in northeast Damascus late Thursday night and into Friday. An SAS News reporter spoke with Mazen Bassel, the spokesman of the Shahed News network based in Damascus, as he spoke with citizen journalists on the ground while the missiles fell.

Bassel reported they worked to clear the rubble and pull survivors from it, adding that it was the first time Tochka missiles were used in this area of the capital. Barzah borders on several sensitive government buildings and Alawite neighborhoods. Video courtesy of Barzeh Local Civic Council.
