Basheer al-Barry

Basheer was born in Jordan but his family is from Deir e-Zor in Syria. He has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Philadelphia University in Jordan. Since the beginning of the war, he has worked for several relief and civil society organizations, as well as researching issues related to Syria. Through his training at Syria Direct, he seeks to develop skills in journalism and broadcast the voice of his people to the world.
