BREAD LINE: UNRWA’s mission to distribute food and medical assistance to Yarmouk camp residents who had fled to the nearby town of Yelda entered its third day on Wednesday, the organization’s spokesperson announced via Twitter.
The organization has engaged with 3,000 residents who have fled Yarmouk since the Islamic State invaded the camp on April 1, said Chris Gunness in the tweet. UNRWA reports that it is delivering food, medical supplies, water purification treatments, mattresses, blankets, family kitchen sets and hygiene kits.
