READY TO GO TO SYRIA: Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah tells thousands of his supporters Thursday that he is ready to go to Syria and fight “terrorists”.

His speech followed a huge explosion the Hezbollah’s south Beirut stronghold of al-Rouwais killed twenty-four persons and wounded more than two hundred.

While Hezbollah condemned “takfiri terrorists” for the explosion, no group has claimed responsibility.  Syrian rebels and Israel denied any connection with the blast.

“If the battle with these Takfiri terrorists needs me and everyone in Hezbollah to go Syria, we will go to Syria,” Nasrallah declared while reiterating his full support for President Bashar al Assad.

Saad Hariri, president of the Lebanese Future Movement said Saturday that Nasrallah’s speech was full of contradictions and risked escalating Lebanon’s entanglement in the Syrian imbroglio.

“Terrorism is terrorism no matter who is conducting it and Hezbollah wants to define it on their own terms,” wrote Hariri on his personal twitter page. Video courtesy of Muslim Shiite
